not posted for ages so i owe you an update. exam on thursday, not yet worried enough. this may have serious consequences for exam record. oh well. went to creepy's not quite good bye party on saturday which was measured though irrefutable fun. think i was aiming to get hammered with matthew, but he snuck off to get stoned. and claude was not boozing. i am still owed a birthday dinner by the old people. i keep reading the square's website. i should be reading my notes. i shall.

good news about humberto viz galveston. bad news about tayyabs viz ramadan. my blissful march towards death will have to be celebrated at some later date. i am thinking about l'enclume again. must be the prospect of reading about ALM again. this morning did a brief analysis of britannia's accounts a la peston. i also recall some reassuring graphs in lex yesterday. goodby gorro.

have stumbled on an old favourite (alas, it is not yet on you tube) from an ancient mix tape whilst i wait for my laundry to finish. could this be the hymn for the gorro? who can say. reading the lyrics would tend to make me suspect that serotonin re-uptake inhibitors may have played a part in it's composition, which makes me doubt my youthful judgment. i seem to be working really fast in the office which is unsettling given i am pissing about so much. not a lot more to report.

oh good god, i feel weary. work do last night left me more drunk than i thought i was - i am still somewhat muddled as to the distinction about the events of the evening and the uncannily similar events of the dreams that spanned the rest of the night. this is evidenced also in my hangover. very long meeting this morning did not help. i think a bath might help, but i must pull myself together to do some study tomorrow. meditation perhaps? scotchwiskey? the very though chills the marrow.

tonight i have a bunch of stupid work and study related things to do but insted i am listening to arise therfore and joya. chronologically progressing backward would permit viva last blues before bed which would be nice. more hurricane stuff goes on which is quite white knuckle for yours truly, what with the months now being septemeber. the prospect of destructive humberto walloping florida (or anywhere, for that matter) does not please one bit. had better go to bed and study hard tomorrow, otherwise disaster awaits.
