went to midsummer house today, and i must say that it has become finer and more elegent in the year since my last visit. highlights included a pressed terrine of sweetbreads and poulty bits with trufle creme fraiche and some langres cheese with pinot noir jelly. how lucky i am to have such a kind and generous father.
