last night i cooked for e - we had roast veal, broad beans and fresh almonds, and then some cheese form the fromagerie. all went pretty well (i shall probably be roasting veal again), but the nicest thing we had was some good burgundy (this could perhaps be my best ever impulse buy). the night was pretty scorching, even with some late night strolling by the thames for refreshment.
