have passed a very present week in st palais sur mer - been cooking quite a lot of fish (pictures to follow), cycling, swimming and reading the pale king (which is excellent and much recommended).  the next week should see plenty of time spent on or waiting for trains, as well as quite a lot of restaurant action.
