apologies for radio silence - busy times since last you heard form me. for my birthday e and i went into the countryside (sort of) for a lovely walk and a bit of foraging last saturday, yielding some boletus. sadly, these were less delicious than i had hoped. during the week i managed to slip a few dry martinis in and around the many conference calls, including my first visit to the attractive hix bar in soho. yesterday, i made my very first batch of sausages (of which some pictures will hopefully follow). then along to dan and an lizzie's for some 80s fun and much catching up.
