pretty amazing dinner last night at st john with old school faces - bone marrow, crab with mayonnaise, braised lamb, roast guinea fowl, pavlova and plum crumble with lots of wine and a fernet branca to top it off. basically i ate way, way too much food and perhaps the digestif may not have been my wisest move. anyhoo, yo la tengo were sitting at the next table and admired my technique dismembering the poultry - a great honor indeed.
