spent the weekend in wales - in some ways a flash back to times past.  the many pleasures of the weekend included some whisky, a large vacherin mont d'or, the preparation of pumpkin stuffed pasta and climbing a mountain in a gale peppered occasionally with sleet.  the opportunity of a week off work finds me quite braced - stewing apples picked this morning and looking forward to sleep, some running and a trip to the seaside.
