well, lovely to be in the environs of the city of london once more. it looks like rain, which will suit those with a recently planted lawn. i am going to sussex to see the elder surviving members of my bloodline, with a fancy for the restorative b and s. i should like to spend more time amongst proust than i am, but then there we are. last night i went to see spiderman 3 which was a curate's egg. unfortunately, the curate in question went on to develop salmonella and die a slow death. if it were a musical, it might have lived up to the first two films. as it stood, the jazz club segment was of a thoroughly execrable genera which i am ashamed is still produced in my native tongue.
