they say bad luck comes in threes, but looking back at last week i think they get it wrong by orders of magnitude. i am not going to rehearse the whys and wherefores of misfortune (in part because last week was nicer in places than would be suggested by the opening gambit), but tell an uplifting list of items i peripatetically grilled last night in putney. razor clams, chorizo, steak and sprung onions made for a meal which i was proud to be part of. if you know of somewhere i can live (for august at least) i would be much obliged. that is all.
