the outlook is bleak: i feel that this year threatens to track off down the same dire path as 2006. maybe it is just that i am again at the stage of sitting timed papers, maybe it is simply the rememberence of springs past or perhaps it is plain vanilla fear. anyway, i had better to cheer up soon is all i can say. two things which have brightened up my life slightly in the last 24 hours: magnolias in kennington and the legendary efes kebab. maybe i will get to go to the aki kaurismaki film tomorrow and all will be well when i get out. but i doubt it.
