what on earth have i been doing for two weeks you might well ask. a little cooking (perhaps more on that later in pictorial form), a little eating (pheasent st stjb&w on sunday particularly noteworthy), more than a little procrastination and quite a bit of work. i am tremendously excited by impending days off: sleep, drink, conviviality here i come.

mangal take out last night - good times.  i think there may be sufficient for a super cold mixed grill lunch.

horribly drunk at office party on friday night, again. why does this always happen? went to moro for lunch and was pleased by the overall experience and delicious roast pork with quince alioli. for dinner e and i had cauliflower cheese and watched hugh. good saturday.

went to helene darroze at the connaught today - some bits were good (torchon of fg, butter, pfs) and some poor (chicken main dish, cheese). the oddest thing was seeing bono and the old guy from the x factor sharing lunch and a bottle of claret.
