well, it looks like another long week. last friday ended at 5:30 am in stockwell and basically i have been on the run since with lost sleep displaced by lost work. tomorrow, in zurich airport at around 6pm hopefully all this madness will pause for an cease-fire, hopefully at sprungli. should have some food pics to report soon.

great meal at zucca last night: tuna tartar, nduja on toast, puntarelle then tagliatelle with white truffles (amazing!), then panna cotta. all washed down with some old barbera. i wasn't even put off by gordon ramsey being in the house.

quick trip to cornwall this week pretty fun, except when being shouted at by large dogs. chicken was roasted, cabbage stuffed, brill baked and pasta was made. and of course a cream tea. on the way home we stopped off at the yew tree inn (ex marco) - have to say this was very poor and i would avoid.
