not a great week: been ill, had loads of work on, flat still flooded &c. however, not all bad as i went to st john proper with jamie and e - an amazing meal of rabbit offal, grouse and poached quinces, with my first drops of 2009 bourgogne rouge.

3 hour lunch today with e and parents at zucca: vitello tonnato, hare papardelle, grilled squid, cheese. lots of barbera and a cheeky vin santo. after a couple of hours napping am watching slightly tedious england game. but lo - a good day got better during the half time ads:
