i am very excited about 2011 plans at this precise moment- i am hoping sanguette and lamprey at la tupina is on the cards.

i am woozy with food today - so far have eaten chestnut soup, goose, various trimmings and a pudding is currently steaming and some stichelton coming up to temperature. before i eat any more, perhaps i shall have a bath and read some of the books i got for christmas.

almost all christmas shopping complete. cold still hanging on. neil young in project room too early, again. i did have a jolly thought this morning on my snowy trudge - wouldn't it be fab if andofcoursenick had to sack stvince? everytime vince opens his mouth i like him less, sometimes a lot less. i think he is this government's prescot (presuming this is not an orignal thought...) - soon he will be a main stay of the dull middle pages of ok! and take-a-break.

just watched the last episode of the trip, which i think has been an excellent series. e seems to have mastered the negroni. all is well in the world, for tonight.

went to marcus wearing with e on tuesday - pretty good meal. we both had grouse, then oxtail, then i had a chocolate thing while e tried the custard tart. lots of freebees knocking about too. i think the nicest think about the place is probably the room and service - quite as nice as any i recall in a posh restaurant in london.
